About the Artist

Anthony P. Geary-Millet was born 1937 in Sydney, Australia, graduated from Waverley College 1955 followed by two years as an Officer in the Royal Australian No.1 Commando Company. Anthony graduated from Darlinghurst Technical College 1957 with a degree in Illustration & Design and in 1958 he was a founding member of The Kensington Art Club.

Anthony resided in London, Paris, Geneva and Seville through 1969, then returned to Australia and conceived the record division of J. Albert & Sons Pty. Ltd. This spawned international artists such as The Easybeats, the song writers for AC/DC.

In 1972 Anthony established residence in Hollywood California, and returned to painting scenes of wild life throughout the state. An avid fisherman, bird hunter and conservationist, he spent a great deal of time observing North American wildlife throughout California in the Coastal Ranges, San Joaquin Valley and the High Sierra’s.

Anthony moved to Lake Arrowhead 1974 which inspired water colors paintings of the valley and mountains. In the late 1980’s he turned to more serious depictions of life in the San Bernardino Mountains working mainly in oil on canvas. After creating many museum quality frames for his commissioned paintings he returned to his latent talent, illustration and design, and commenced producing hand carved frames depicting scenes of nature, history and native wildlife.

Anthony continues to work from his studio overlooking Lake Arrowhead where he enjoys life with his wife Christina.
